For this post, I watched another video from the creator Speak Japanese Naturally about a Japanese high school. When the narrator's son goes to school, she explains that he has a 9 minute walk from the station to the school, and takes us on the journey herself. The school was preparing for their school festival, called "Blue Dragon Festival" (蒼龍歳). They were selling food, like ham and cheese crepes.
Also, the area surrounding the school has beautiful mountains and is fairly rural. I learned that they place misters (ミスト) on the trees to help combat the heat and humidity during the summer time.
